The mission of the project is declared in the name itself.
O_LIVE project: OLympism In Values Education. The name is a reference to the olive tree as it symbolizes peace, friendship and at the same time to the ancient Greek Olympic Games, where an olive wreath was the winner’s prize.
We are motivated by our strong belief in the power of education to help the individual to navigate life and contribute to society. In this journey, teachers play a central role by enabling their students to develop skills/knowledge and promote their international perspectives early in life (based to Eurydice’s report, Citizenship Education at School at Europe 2017/produced by the European Commission)
